Spring Break

March 14, 2009
CNF is at Stout and I end up going there. Before that, Nichole from Stickam tells me that a friend of hers from Rochester is in the city for a conference. I actually know Nichole from a Stickam channel that called Tea Time Chat. It’s like for chicks into Asian dudes. So it’s loaded with Asian doods and chicks. It’s weird that all of them are white. I end up getting the number of Nichole’s friend and we text for the night while I’m at Stout.
At Stout, Fuckin’ Bud Light is $7. The Magic Hat is $6.50 somehow. After the two beers, people are karaoking, but CNF and I just sit there for a bit and leave at 1:00ish.

March 15, 2009
At night, I go to Time Square to meet up with Champagne, Nichole’s friend. She’s staying at the Marriot Marquis. We walk around for a few hours in the area because there’s nothing open or anything to do. It was from like 12:00 to 2:00. Then she has to go back because she’s in the city for a journalism conference for her school’s paper.

March 16, 2009
I meet up with Champagne at 11:00ish and bring her down to the West Village to go Fat Cat. It’s a Tuesday and there’s nowhere really to go other than Fat Cat. We sit there and she likes the place and the music. I randomly see Courtney and Connor. Courtney is Corinne’s sister and Connor is Courtney’s boyfriend. The weird thing is that one of the last times I was there was with them three. I guess I introduced them to the place.
We stay there a few hours until I have to drop her off by 2:00. While walking near Time Square, some black guy screams out, “Hey sister! Why you with a little Asian boy? You like that little dick eh?”
It’s because she’s half black, but looks black and we’re holding hands. She said she might be around tomorrow even though she’s leaving.

March 17, 2009
It turns out that she’s only going for the parade for a bit and then leaving on her flight back to Rochester. The parade has to be soo early in the noonish time, I guess that enforces people get super drunk early and for the night too.
I don’t end up seeing her for the day, but she said she’ll be back soon in a week or two to visit and stuff.
It’s St. Pattie’s so it seems like a night to go crazy and stuff. I drink a bit and walk around. I don’t know where I want to go, so I end up going myself to Slainte, a bar across the street. I’m a bit drunk and a bit tired and surprised when the bouncer asks my year.
My reflex says 88 and he rejects me. Fuck man… It’s chalked to ’86.

March 18, 2009
So from the Asian Stickam room, someone from Jersey visits, Kara. She takes the train up here. I meet her at 3:30ish in Midtown. There’s no much to do, so we end up walking around a lot in bookstores and stuff. We try to find Internet, but it’s surprising how hard it is to find WiFi. We have dinner at Hale and Hearty Soup. She catches the 9:00ish train back after a lonnggg day of walking around.

March 19, 2009
So I’ve also been on this Asian community site. I don’t actually use it, but I just made an account. Some girl in New York messages me and we fly a few messages. I end up asking if she’s got nothing to do, if she wants to meet up for coffee. I know, online date yadda yadda, so whatever.
I end up meeting her at a cafĂ© near NYU campus at 2:00. After a coffee, we walk around NYU campus, then the West Village. Barnes and Noble, a library in a church, then the subway down to the South Street Seaport. I’ve been there before, but never in the mall area. Then a walk from that area to Chinatown. We end parting ways past 9:00. Now that’s one really long date.
I find out that Candace, Damien, and Jonah are hanging out at CNF’s. I go there and we hang out. Drink a lil’ bit of vodka and a 22 of malt liquor. I take a few hits of the weed and go back with Jonah. A long day and sealed up the night well.

March 20, 2009
Kenny comes into the city to hang out. Jonah is around too. We go to Fat Cat before 12:00. We sit around for a beer while I work on 3 beers through the night, one Stout and two PBRs. Jonah has to leave by 1:30 and it’s Kenny and I. We joke about “race rating” game for a bit. White, Mix, Hispanic, Middle Eastern, Asian, South Asian, Black.

I try to be productive and go to my mom’s office near Columbus Circle to pick up a digital camera. I then go to the supermarket to pick up foods. Ramen, rice, soda, bread, roast beef, cheese, pickles, etc.
That’s pretty much my day and I make plans with Tiffany (date from Thursday).
At night, I go to Sunny and Annie’s. The Bush sandwich is real good. A roll with grilled chicken, half a fresh avocado, onion, ranch, a few slices of dried seaweed, and fresh sliced mozzarella. (I actually HATE fresh onion, but it was good. It was sweet red onion and it was sliced really thin. It helps give the sandwich a hint of flavor instead that sharp attack like thick slices on a burger.)

March 22, 2009
I meet Tiffany at 2:00 at Think Coffee, which is around the corner. We go to Washington Square Park and the weather is nice so lots of people are out. We see some people playing jazz and watch the dog park. The dog park is pretty awesome. It’s just tons and tons of dogs running around in an area. We then go to Starbucks and sit around for a few hours. We end up parting at 6:00ish because I should get some stuff done today.
