I wake up at 2:00ish and during the afternoon, I watch an episode of Anthony Bourdain’s No Reservations. It’s about “lost” places in the city and the nostalgia of that. At the end, they show a dive bar that Anthony sees as a dying breed of bar/pub in the city. I see the surroundings and interior and slowly feel that it’s a place that I’ve been to. It turns out to be the pub that I’ve been to a bunch of times with CNF, Bolanos, Evan, Jenn, etc. It’s an interesting place because it’s so dirty and grungy and has $4 Yuenglings.

Amazing Race is back on my list. It’s pretty awesome because it’s like traveling and vacationing, but through the show. At one point, they have to do a challenge that involves doing stuff for gypsies. One of the guys leaves his fannypack with money and passports with them. He then has to look for it and can’t find it. It randomly showed up on a gyspy’s caravan. Those fuckin’ gypsies. I would never trust them.
Another reason for that, Bolanos’ roommate, Brendi, told us a story about his grandmother. Apparently at Christmas dinners, the grandmother spreads his hate of gypsies because back in the day, they had stolen her chickens. A ridiculous story that I just couldn’t stop laughing at when were at Wendy’s in Binghamton.

I spend the night running through a bunch of Real World: Brooklyn. I’ve always wanted to watch it, but it’s not on torrent and it’s really annoying dealing with MTV’s site to watch the episodes. However, I butch through. It’s so exciting, again because I jump out of my seat every time I see something that I’ve been to. For example, a few of them walking around SoHo, Coney Island, Little Italy, etc.

Thursday, no where to go. I sit around for the night with not much to do.
Friday, I go to Chinatown the morning to get food. The food is meh. Again, check out my Yelp! Think Coffee is really awesome.

At night, there’s nothing to do again. I sit around the night on Skype with Nikki because she has friends over.
Saturday, I try to figure something to do for the night again. CNF and Tom are hanging out in BK. CNF thought about going into the city to hang with Candace, but he didn’t. I could’ve gone into BK, but I decide to stay in the city and see what happens.
I think before 10:00, I start feeling a bit weird or something. I’m feel meh, it’s drinking night anyway. Vodka and Wild Cherry Pepsi.
A few hours later, I start feeling worse and I end up writing this. I could’ve edited this or not posted it, but I guess I felt like being honest at the time:
“It’s been a lonely weekend. I almost had a panic attack, but I drank a lot more to make me feel better. I’m on Stickam too, so it’s keeping me busy. I think I’m going to a bar soon too, myself, solo.”
I walk over the East Village and go to a place that’s suggested on Yelp. It’s a small place that has a lot of tables in the back with people sitting. The bar is empty and I just get a $4 Heinny and leave. I then go to Ace Bar, but I get lost because it gets confusing in that area. I get a $4 Miller High Life at Ace. It’s dying down by 3:00ish and it’s sort of a cock fest. I go to McDonald’s. I walk by the nice hotel near me. I’ve seen Sarah Silverman there. And who do I see, but Jason Segel! He’s smoking a cigarette at 4:00. I get back and sleep by 6:00 because I’m pretty drunk.
A boring weekend, but I’m glad Saturday night didn’t end up as bad as it could’ve been. I guess walking around and those two beers sealed me up.
