It’s been a long week of two finals and a paper.
As for a Stickam update. Tanya’s been gone for the semester and says she’s probably not getting back on no more. I’ve been speaking to Elin more. Law School Hannah and I still keep in touch through Facebook. Jema has gotten rid of her account. Athena randomly went on, but I don’t know if she’ll be on anymore. Cali Stephi’s been around.

So back home. One night we went to Astoria. Another night we went to CNF’s place. Tha’ts the same day I opened by gift from Nikki. It was 4 little vodka shots, .75L of rum, candy, inside joke of Mondo’s and gum inside joke. I rarely get gifts and it’s exciting when I do. It was so cool.
Last night, we sat around at Spamps’. I find out that I’m doing Christmas cooking, which turned out amazing. The pineapple honey glazed ham was soo moist. I usually hate ham for being so salty, but I loved this. Then there’s a baked vegetable rice pilaf. It’s a bit dry, I should’ve covered it. The mashed sweet potato with toast marshmallow is simple and delicious. The lemon zest green beans are a bit sour.

Another Tork shindig. I’m at the mall so I have to walk there myself. Before I go, I have a few shots. I get there and people are taking shots. Fuck em, they’re pussying around with salt and limes. I pour myself a shot, down it fast.
I end up taking 3+ shots of Jose throughout the night. The rest of it is loaded with beer, Blue Moon, BB Pennant, and Sam Adams. Loads of people are there, Josh, Bolanos, Kenny, Spamps, Tork’s bro, Matt, Rachel his girlfriend, Caroline, Tork, Jonah, CNF, Stefan. Trebach makes a showing with some random people. At the end of the party, Jenn makes a drop by and we haven’t seen her in forever.
I stay pretty safe and I don’t have so much that I’m shitfaced. I end up walking back with Caroline and Spamps at 2:30. A really fun night.

This New Years sets a change in pace for things. It’s not at Hasan’s or Scott’s. Instead, Tork is opening up his place again. It just feels like a shift from the homogeny that once was our nostalgic New Years.
Tork is supplying beer, so Bolanos and I go to the liquor store near Spamps’. I front almost $50 for Seagram’s, Svedka, and some soda/tonic. Miah ends up backing out because Lauren doesn’t want to come. Kenny is sick. Spamps ends up driving so I have a ride there and get there by 9:20.
I work on G&Ts very quickly. While I thought that I was the only one bringing liquor and there wasn’t going to be as much beer, I was expecting to be compensated for the liquor. Instead, they don’t end up getting finished and no one really gets me back. Meh, it’s not a big deal.
Within the hour, I think I’m about six drinks deep. I think it’s also the first time I see the Evan and Sam duo. How cute.
Lets list some people: Bolanos, me, Josh, Spamps, CNF (who leaves before 12:00 for Bayside and Candice’s sister…), Matt, Rachel, Erica Kaplan, Doug, Chrissy, TA, Jenn (shows up lateish), Tork, lil Tork, Ben Simon, Mike Jones (from basketball).
Funny story, Bolanos brings up that Mike Jones from basketball is there. We walk to the other room to tell TA. We all have a laugh about it. Ben Simon walks in and says that him and Mike Jones can hear us chatting about it, despite our whispers.
There’s weird stuff with Josh and Rosie (or The Beak) going upstairs and doing whatever. Past midnight, apparently Bolanos is really drunk and goes upstairs after Josh is done. I don’t know whatever happened.
Jenn says that she wants to go to Jasper’s. Spamps gives us two a ride there. By the time I arrive, I’m really shitfaced. Spamps ends up leaving. It’s probably very awkward around the Asians or just people that I don’t really know, but I’m drunk, so who cares. TA ends up dropping off Bolanos. For some reason, I end up drinking more which isn’t good. I end up breaking a bottle by dropping it. Bad idea and I cut myself trying to clean it. Then they bring McDonalds and I chomp a McChicken and cheeseburger. For some reason, I’m so drunk that I pocket one of the burgers.
Jenn’s dad ends up giving Bolanos and I a ride back. I actually tell him to pass my house for some reason, how awkward. I’m really tired/drunk by the time I get back. (Bolanos later tells me that I was back at 6:30ish. We left Tork’s at like 1:30ish. I don’t remember being at Jasper’s so long. Bolanos said I passed out in a chair at one point. I don’t remember that….)

What a horrible day. I wake up at 6:00 with a ridiculous hangover and I’m also sick. It was cold and I didn’t bother suiting myself and the combo is baaadd. I brought a highlighter that night to mark my hand for drinks. Turns out that I had like 19 drinks. That’s quite a record for me, who usually goes like 8 drinks for a night and I’m good.

I start work again at the doctor’s office that I worked before. I wish I had contacted her earlier, but she didn’t want to hire me last summer, so I wasn’t sure about this winter. She says she wants me to work full time and it’s a really tiring day. Spamps has left for LA.
Stickam: Emma is back on these days and speaking to her a lot. Mariela from Germany another addition to the crew. Lots of issues with Nikki being shady and missing, still have to figure that out. Corinne should be coming to NYC this weekend, bomb!
